Purpose of the book
Part of a Series for Special Education this book of activities has been developed and designed for students of Mathematics who are studying and working at an advanced level. It provides an extensive range of themes, questions and challenges in differing complexity and stimulation.
The chapters in this book are arranged in the following way:
- an overview of each chapter;
- guide notes for the teacher;
- activities for teacher use;
- an activity for the student to design and create.
About the author
John Peneder is a successful teacher with 25 years experience in primary and secondary schools. He has taught in the public and Catholic school systems in New South Wales and South Australia. While he has recently retired from classroom teaching in Whyalla he still undertakes substantial home tutoring in English and Mathematics for an extensive range of students. John has a strong background in assisting students with special needs.
